As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening data privacy across state government, the Utah Office of Data Privacy (ODP) is excited to announce the launch of our Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) Professional Development Fellowship.
In the past, ODP has fully prepaid for IAPP training and certification exams. However, to ensure maximum stewardship of our finite budget and to guarantee funding goes to those fully committed to achieving certification, we are shifting to a reimbursement-based cohort model.
We are looking for a select group of dedicated data governance professionals to join this elite cohort. If selected, ODP will fully reimburse your CIPM exam fee upon passing, and we will continue to maintain your annual IAPP membership fee for as long as you remain in state government.
Fellowship Details
To protect our budget and ensure a high success rate, this program operates on a reimbursement model:
- Upfront Commitment: Selected participants will register and pay for the exam upfront.
- 100% Reimbursement: ODP will reimburse 100% of the exam cost immediately upon presentation of your passing certificate.
- Continued Support: ODP will cover your annual IAPP membership dues, provided you remain employed by a Utah governmental entity.
How to Apply
Space is limited. To ensure equity and commitment, candidates must submit a brief application via Google Form for consideration.
The application will ask you to outline:
- Your contact information.
- Which governmental entity you represent.
