Workshop Details
If you are responsible for a government website, it’s important to understand how your government website collects, tracks, and shares user data. Under Utah’s Government Data Privacy Act (GDPA), government websites must now clearly explain these practices to visitors. This free workshop will focus on website notices and how to scan your government website to identify and disclose website tracking technology like cookies or other tracking software.
By attending, you’ll learn how to:
- Write a clear website policy that explains what user data your government website collects
- Scan your government website for tracking technology (like cookies) and include them in your website notice
We’ll walk through each step, share real examples, and answer your questions.
