The 2025 Data Privacy Awareness Training will be a short 8 minute video. This should be viewed by all employees of a governmental entity who:
- Have access to personal data as part of the employee’s work duties; or
- Supervise an employee who has access to personal data
- Note, a contractor is not subject to the data privacy training program requirements
Training shall be completed:
- Within 30 days after an employee of a governmental entity begins employment
- At least once in each calendar year

State Agencies will access the training through KnowBe4. A link for this will be added on July 1.
